Forterro UK is looking for an experienced person to join our vibrant Field Sales team for the Orderwise product line. In this role, you will be instrumental in propelling new business sales, primarily targeting larger SMEs. If you have a proven track record in selling both license and cloud-based ERP products within wholesale, distribution, and retail, with a focus on operational, stock & order management, as well as WMS functionalities, and you excel at engaging multiple stakeholders within client organisations, we are eager to hear from you.

Salary banding: £60,000 - 70,000, OTE of £100,000+
In this role, your key responsibilities encompass a comprehensive approach to business development within the SME market segment. You will proactively identify and target new business opportunities, collaborating seamlessly with the business development team to convert marketing-generated prospects into a robust sales pipeline.
Your role involves conducting thorough research to understand the specific needs and challenges of potential clients, allowing you to effectively articulate the value proposition of Orderwise solutions. You will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and managing a strong sales pipeline, consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders is integral to your responsibilities, requiring collaboration with pre-sales and technical teams to tailor solutions that deliver optimal results.
As a seasoned professional, you will navigate the sales cycle with precision, ensuring timely communication of objectives, outcomes, and next steps. Your commitment to staying informed about industry trends and competitors' offerings will contribute to maintaining a competitive edge, while your ability to provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management will be essential.
Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required, and your dedication to personal development through company training initiatives demonstrates your commitment to continuous growth and success in this role.
To excel in this role, you will bring experience in successfully engaging with large SMEs and adeptly navigating sales cycles in both board-managed and owner-managed businesses. Proficiency in sales structures and methodologies, crucial for effective opportunity management and progression, is essential.
You should possess a strong understanding of operational, stock management, order management, and WMS processes within organisations. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, along with the ability to build and sustain relationships with multiple stakeholders. A self-motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented individual, you will also have experience in comprehending and guiding each buyer's unique journey to a successful outcome.
