Selecting the right integration platform

Now you’re ready to connect your ERP to your new platform, it’s natural to worry about where to start. When we think about integrating systems, we think of hurdles, delays and extensive scoping exercises but it doesn’t have to be that way. We’ve been connecting Orderwise to external platforms for a long time and our experience is something we share with you throughout the process. 

First, consider what it is you want to connect to your ERP; not just the platform, but the data points. To help make that process easier, we’ve created tables for our most commonly connected systems & requirements for you to cross-reference;

Once you’re confident that you can connect what you need, you can turn your attention to mapping the specific fields between Orderwise and your platform. When you start this step, walk through the process of entering this information manually in Orderwise; it helps you to visualise the fields and identify how crucial they are to successful integration.  

Our integration mapping template is pre-populated with the fields we most commonly see in an integration per platform, anything else you want to add here like analysis fields for recording metadata can be included also. We can of course offer support through consultation if you want some additional advice or if you are unsure of how to map a specific scenario or workflow.
