December is well and truly upon us, and we hope that most of you are preparing for a well-deserved break away from your desks over Christmas! Whatever the case, our OrderWise v20.12 release will provide you with a helping hand whenever you need it.

There have been some big enhancements for our new Mobile WMS for Android solution. For one, you can now consolidate items ready for picking. Under the ‘Place Queue’, you will be able to see your consolidations at a glance, including key facts about each one such as the variant code, batch number, creation date and more. You can sort items by variant code, bin number or walk route, and filter by bin type and stock location for easier picking all round.
There’s also a new piece of functionality within the replenishment feature that allows you to over-pull a replenishment. This means that a replenishment pulled to its complete quantity will no longer automatically be marked as fully pulled and closed. Thereby, you can allow your team to continue pulling additional quantities until they declare the pull complete on the options menu.
You might have seen in our blog post that we have made some changes to Accounts and Courier Integration ahead of Brexit.
From 1 January 2021, you will no longer pay import VAT at the port of entry. This enhancement will allow you to declare and recover import VAT on the same VAT return, rather than having to pay it upfront and recover it later on.

We’ve introduced customer and supplier rebate management for Accounts to provide you with more flexibility in this area. A rebate is the return of a portion of a purchase price by a seller to a buyer, usually on purchase of a specified quantity, or value, of goods within a specified period. A customer rebate is this transaction from the seller’s point of view. A supplier rebate is this transaction from the buyer’s point of view.
This new feature will allow you to configure customer and supplier rebates once you make changes in your system settings. So, be sure to check it out if your business uses Accounts.
If you have an OrderWise Online Store, you might be pleased to hear that it now supports payments through Opayo when using the 3DSv2 protocol. This applies to both Opayo Direct and Opayo Form Payment Gateways. There are no changes required to get this update into action, so it will be ready for you as soon as your update is complete!
As well as this, your customers can now dispute an invoice in the invoice modal using a new button, and an added hidden security field for online forms will protect your business from troublesome bots.
Plenty of other enhancements have been going on behind the scenes, too. For instance, over in Courier Integration, a new ‘special instructions’ field has been added, so you can include additional information when you edit an address. For Manufacturing, you can now drag and drop WO cards to prioritise tasks in the WO planner, and for Sales, you now have the ability to add a price mark-up based on a transaction cost.
