This July has seen some exciting new features added to our OrderWise software, helping our users to further improve the accuracy, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of their diverse operations. These include Works Order Pick Rules, a new delivery cost calculator, several new features for our Store EPOS software and tools to assist with your returns approval process.

With OrderWise Manufacturing, businesses are already able to gain complete control over all aspects of their manufacturing operation, ensuring costs are kept down and processes quickly completed. Now this month sees two additions to the module to help users better forecast stock demand and automate picking.
Returns are inevitable. Any business selling goods can expect some level of sales to be returned back to them, even more so for apparel stockists. However although returns are an important part of your business, it’s only something you want management involved with when required. Therefore, to avoid taking management away from more substantial tasks and having sales staff physically track them down when returns need authorising, a new feature enables approval limits on returns and refunds to now be set within the OrderWise software.
With so many factors to consider when calculating delivery fees such as the cost of fuel and driver salaries, manually totalling these for each order can be both time-consuming and prone to error. Charge too little and businesses can set themselves up for a loss, charge too much and customers may be put off placing their order due to the excessive cost of delivery. Therefore to help accurately determine delivery charges, the OrderWise Transport Management module has seen a new delivery cost calculator added this month.

You need to be able to process transactions both quickly and accurately, whilst also having the stock visibility to ensure that each sales opportunity is captured. With OrderWise Store EPOS, our software already makes serving clients in-store a highly efficient and streamlined process, even at peak times. Now version 19.7 of OrderWise sees two new additions to further help users when processing both their retail and counter sales. This includes new customer messages to remind staff when serving on-account customers and the means to record a default delivery stock location.
